what is it with historians and their style of writing.
never-ending sentences, vague historical references and an inclination towards the selection of thesaurused words.
its like they themselves believe what they write is fluff and unworthy, to actually feel that in order to attain the apogee in scholarly writing, they have to confuse and mystify.
exactly my point.
i had to google "apogee" to understand my reading.


i must add that yes, i confuse and mystify too.
but my content does not set out to achieve common understanding.
